Flo National Duals in Lake Placid
We recently signed on to become a sponsor at the Brute-adidas: Flo/Journeymen National Duals in May 2010. It sounds like a mouthful with all of those names attached to it, right? Anyhow, we have become the official vendor for this event and couldn’t be more excited to work with the Flo guys and Frank Popolizio with Journeymen Wrestling Club.
Looks like the event will take place in the old Olympic Center in Lake Placid where the 1980 USA Hockey team played the “Miracle on Ice” game and should be pretty cool for the wrestlers to experience the history of that building. They have it set for 40 teams from across the country all using Folkstyle Wrestling on May 22&23. We will most likely get up there around Friday afternoon for setup and be ready to sell merchandise at 7:00am on the 22nd. I believe that Journeymen will have the event tees for that event, so keep your eyes open for those (Journeymen usually does cool event tees). This tee should be one to collect. We will be taking up mostly Brute and adidas wrestling gear and apparel to sell for this weekend, which means we should have the new Combat Speed shoes at the table for you to check out. I’ll be blogging about them soon and we’ll be taking pre-orders for them soon after. More to come about this event as we get closer.

they just informed us that they were going to have a Flo Nationals Team event for JR. High level at the same event this coming year. That should add some more excitment to the event. Maybe even get some parents to come this year.
